Frequently asked questions
When should I send out save the dates and wedding invitations?
I recommend sending save the dates should go out 6 to 9 months before the wedding and invitations should be sent 2 months before with the RSVP date for 1 month before the wedding (this allows you time to track down those that don't RSVP). Exceptions to this recommendation are if you are having a destination wedding, a wedding in June, or on a holiday weekend then I recommend sending the save the dates as soon as you have a date and venue booked. You want to get on your guest's calendars as soon as possible.
When should I place my order?
Generally you should allow 2-3 weeks for save the dates and 4-8 weeks for invitations. This timeline could be extended depending on design, elements, and assembly. For wedding day stationery items those should be ordered 1-2 months before the wedding.
Will I get to see a proof?
Yes! All orders include electronic proofs. Your order will move into production once you approve the proof. If you would like a hard copy proof there is a $25 fee. Hard copy proofs are not available for all printing types.
How many invitations should I order?
The best way to determine how many save the dates, invitations, and thank you notes you need is to count the number of addresses you will be mailing to. It is also highly recommended that you order 5-10 extra of each for keepsakes and for last minute guests.
Do you offer payment plans
Yes! You may make payments on your order or pay in full. 25% of total is required before a proof is sent for your approval, production will begin when 75% is received and payment in full is required before shipping/delivery.
Do you offer samples?
Yes! Use the contact form to ask for a sample set and give me your address. I will mail you a FREE sample set.
I need an invitation in a language other than English, can you do that?
Absolutely! I can do bilingual invitations or you can order a set in another language. While I do not speak a language other than English, you can send me the wording needed and I can use that on your stationery.
Do you have a minimum order requirement?
No. It is my philosophy that you can order the exact number you are needing. No need to order 75 when you only need 52. This is why we have a flat fee for all items. Most invitation companies charge more per item for lower quantities. I feel that you should not be punished for not needing 100s of invitations.
